Front Battery Tensite AGM 250Ah 12V
PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Front Battery Tensite AGM 250Ah 12V is a VRLA type monobloc battery that does not require maintenance. It has a peculiar format widely used in telecommunications applications. It is suitable for caravan consumption, lighting or small consumption in an isolated installation.
The Tensite Frontal Battery AGM 250Ah 12V is a monobloc battery that does not require any type of maintenance. It is a sealed battery that can be installed indoors and where there is little ventilation, as it does not emit gases.
It is a battery that has an ABS plastic container that guarantees very good resistance and durability. For the same reason, it is used in telecommunications systems due to its frontal format, but also in photovoltaic systems due to its very attractive technical characteristics.
Installing the Tensite AGM 250Ah 12V Frontal Battery is very simple thanks to its compact dimensions. During transport, installation or handling, it is recommended that it does not fall over, but if it did fall at some point, it would not spill acid as it is a sealed monoblock battery. It has the edges on the front, so it's very easy to connect the batteries in series with a jumper.
To optimize its lifespan, it is recommended that downloads do not exceed 30%, although deep downloads can be performed in a timely manner, if this feature was abused, its lifespan would be significantly shortened.
As mentioned earlier, the Tensite AGM 250Ah 12V front battery is a VRLA and AGM deep cycle 12V monoblock battery. The VRLA family of batteries are lead batteries that do not require maintenance and, being AGM, have inside the electrolyte that causes the chemical reaction arranged in fiberglass membranes that are adhered to the lead plates. In this way, the battery does not emit gases during operation, it is not necessary to replenish the electrolyte and it is also very safe to work in environments without ventilation where there may be danger due to the gases emitted by lead batteries when they are in operation.
To make the 12V battery, inside it contains 6 2V cells that form the battery pack. Also, being deep cycle ensures that it will withstand deep discharges better than an AGM battery.
The Front Battery Tensite AGM 250Ah 12V is from the manufacturer Tensite, so it has quality assurance thanks to the controls that are carried out in the production processes and tests of the final product. On the other hand, if the battery were connected to a solar installation, it would be necessary to use a charge controller with the appropriate configuration for the battery. With both a photovoltaic regulator and a battery charger, we must not exceed 25A or 30A of charging intensity on a regular basis and that this is a correct voltage for the AGM battery.
Usual uses of the Tensite AGM 250Ah 12V front battery
The Tensite AGM 250Ah 12V Front Battery is one of the largest capacity front batteries in AGM and 12V technology. It can be used for: powering consumption in a caravan, lighting, television or small consumption in an isolated installation, among others. What should be avoided is using the battery to power electric motors or other traction operations.
