It is a modern Lithium-Ion or LFP phosphate battery that stands out for its high compatibility and modular design that allows mounting in a 19-inch rack. Furthermore, it should also be noted that this battery allows us to obtain a lithium battery at a very low cost considering all its properties.
Pylontech US5000 48V 4.8kWh Lithium Battery adopts 19-inch rack-mount design, which can increase the working capacity of the PV device without affecting the normal operation or quality, so that we can use the surface to place the battery in a group that is smaller and simplified coupling between panels.
Furthermore, it can be used with up to 16 batteries in parallel with current firmware due to its modular design and enabling features. Everything is controlled by the battery charge manager, which distributes energy between the battery and the plates to prevent them from overcharging or discharging. This characteristic is fundamental in lithium batteries.
For protection reasons, when using this type of Pylontech battery pack to assemble multiple panels, it is absolutely necessary to have a cabinet or rack support to ensure the structure is maintained in proper condition.
The correct maintenance of the battery does not require any operation, as it is sealed and planned in the internal area, so the Pylontech battery can function normally without the need to periodically monitor its status. It is important to avoid operating the battery in areas with very high or low temperature and humidity to maximize battery life.
It has a 7-year manufacturer's warranty (10 years if the product is registered under: Pylontech's 10-year warranty registration), but several requirements must be met for the battery to operate above the value set by the manufacturer. It is recommended to select the model that best suits your needs and the parameters established by the manufacturer for the accumulator module according to the instructions provided. If the intensity of the current or output power is greater than the indicated value, the battery may suffer premature deterioration, in which case the guarantee does not interfere.
